Atlas Advisors adds hires former Macquarie Group global CIO

Former Macquarie Group global chief investment officer for banking and financial services, Craig Swanger, has joined Atlas Advisors Australia as head of advisory board financial products.

Since leaving Macquarie in 2013, Swanger has been advising and investing in private equity and property projects across Australia, the US, and Asia. He's also a non-executive director at digital bank Xinja and marketplace lender Wisr. Swanger has also been on the board of Cashwerkz since 2019.

"Craig has experience building investment products in a wide range of asset classes from venture capital to farmland, designed to suit investor needs first, resulting in success in outraising competitors for over 15 years," said Atlas' executive chair Guy Hedley.
